FAQs
Questions before we begin?
If you don’t see your question here, bring it to a free Clarity Session. There’s no wrong question.
Getting started
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership focused on where you are now and where you want to go. Together we look at your thoughts, emotions, and patterns, practice new ways of responding, and build the capacities that help you trust yourself.
I won’t hand you a script. My goal is to help you see your own thinking clearly so you can discover the choices available to you.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching is present- and future-focused. It supports growth, skill-building, and practice in your everyday life. Therapy is clinical mental health care and is often the right place to diagnose, treat, or heal from trauma.
My work is trauma-informed, which means I hold space safely and pay attention to how your experiences affect you. I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and coaching is not a replacement for therapy. Many people find the two work well together.
What happens in a Clarity Session?
A Clarity Session is a free, 30-minute conversation on Zoom. We’ll identify your primary insecurity pattern, clarify what’s keeping you stuck, and talk honestly about whether coaching together is the right next step.
There’s no pressure and nothing to prepare. Just come as you are.
How do I know whether coaching is right for me?
Coaching tends to be a good fit if you’re functioning in daily life but feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, or losing yourself in relationships, and you’re ready to practice something new.
If you’re in crisis or need clinical care, please reach out to a licensed therapist or medical provider first. A Clarity Session is a good place to talk it through if you’re unsure.
What if I have trouble identifying my goals?
That’s completely normal, and it’s often part of the work. Many women come to coaching knowing something needs to change without knowing exactly what. We’ll start with what you’re noticing and get clearer together.
The program
How long is the coaching program?
Each level of The Self-Secure Method is a 12-week program. Level 1, The Self-Secure Foundation, builds internal security. Level 2, The Self-Secure Life, applies it to a meaningful personal project.
What does the program include?
Level 1 includes weekly 45-minute one-on-one coaching sessions, weekly group calls, and the Level 1 workbook with reflection worksheets and practical exercises.
Depending on your package, you can also have support between sessions through Marco Polo, so you can bring real moments to coaching as they happen.
Is coaching in person or online?
Coaching happens online over Zoom, so you can join from wherever you are.
Do I need Level 1 before Level 2?
Yes. Level 2 builds on the foundation of Level 1, using the capacities you develop there in real life. Level 1 can also stand on its own. Level 2 is coming next.
What is the investment?
Level 1 pricing and package options will be listed here soon. Payment plans are available. We’ll walk through the options together in your Clarity Session.
Working together
Is this confidential?
Absolutely. Everything shared in our sessions is held in confidence, within legal limits. You deserve a space where you can feel safe, honest, and supported.
I’m nervous I won’t say the “right thing.”
There’s no such thing. This is a judgment-free space. You don’t need to have it figured out. You just need to show up as you are, and that’s where the work starts.
Still wondering if this is right for you?
That’s exactly what a Clarity Session is for. It’s free, it’s 30 minutes, and there’s no pressure.
